MISSION STATEMENT.
To appreciate and understand art. To organize workshops. To present speakers and demonstrators for meetings. To secure exhibiting assignments.
LOCATION.
We meet on the 1st Monday of each month at 7pm 12105 N.E. Prescott, Portland
except when there is a holiday such as Labor Day, or New Years Day on the 1st Monday. We will then meet on the following Monday.
COMPETITIONS.
December.. The annual Christmas party.
February.... Works of art on paper/under glass competition.
March........ Oil and acrylic, etc. on canvas/board competition.
April........... Awards Banquet & SEASONS OF COLOR EXHIBIT.
June........... Miniature competition.

THE PORTLAND FINE ARTS GUILD, INC. (PFAG)
The Portland Fine Arts Guild, a non-profit group, has a membership of many individuals from all over the Portland Metro Area. We are possibly the most energetic group of artists on Portland's east side! Far away from the Pearl District and First Thursday galleries, we continue to thrive spiritually, if not financially, in Fine Arts! PFAG was inspired in 1969 and formally established in 1972. (see History page) We presently meet and work at 12105 NE Prescott, Portland, 97220 at the Russellville Grange Hall in the Parkrose area of Portland.
PFAG at this point in time, may be the last place in the Metro Portland areawhere artists arriving from far and wide, (yearning for the Artist's life as often mentioned in the media) would ever expect to settle! But, if by chance they do, they find that The Portland Fine Ats Guild holds its own in Portland's art scene!!
PFAG and its members continue to enjoy making a sizeable contribution in this and other areas throughout the Portland Metro area. Our work hangs in various business and community establishments on a rotating basis. (see REVOLVING EXHIBITS)
We also participate in local shows and benefit events, as well as galleries. Our own "Seasons of Color" art exhibit and sale takes place in the the spring of the year.
At our facility, a variety of art classes are offered to members and nonmembers - emerging artists - for very reasonable fees. Our professional instructors travel from all over the greater Portland and Vanc, WA area to share their talent and teach excellent workshops. We also hold membership competitions several times a year and ribbons are awarded.
Membership is open to any person/persons that are interested in the arts.

Workshops are held the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, Mondays of each month. Sometimes depending on the teacher & interest maybe on the 4th Monday.
Workshops are held at the Russellville Grange Hall, located at 12105 N.E. Prescott, Portland, Oregon, 97220 (large blue building just South of Sandy Blvd.) These are open to the public. Plenty of free parking. Bring a sack lunch or make use of the many fast food restaurants in the area. Coffee is available.
To help defray expenses the cost for Members is $12.00
for non-members $15.00.
Everyone is welcome to attend no matter what level of artist you are and you are free to work in any medium you wish.
The hours for the Workshops are from 10am to 2pm. It is advised that you arrive at least a half hour earlier to set-up. The newsletter is sent out each month to advise you of the teacher and materials needed.
Absolutely no Turpentine is allowed.
